Department of Social Services Launches Redesigned Web Site

User-friendly site features new logo, updated information and easy links to services
The Louisiana Department of Social Services recently redesigned and launched its Web site featuring a new user-friendly design, a new agency logo, updated information and easy-to-use links to DSS services.

"The Web site redesign signals a new direction for DSS - one of transparency, service and access," said Secretary Kristy Nichols. "The new site is a tool for our agency to provide easier access to information and services for clients, providers and the public."

The main page of the Web site now features links to three of DSS's priority initiatives: Louisiana Neighborhood Place, Solutions to Poverty and Quality Start Child Care Rating System. Users can use links on the home page to check the status of child support payments, search for and compare ratings on licensed child care facilities, report fraud and download application forms for the Food Stamp Program, the Kinship Care Subsidy Program, the Child Care Assistance Program and more.
