Office of Juvenile Justice

The Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice’s website was redesigned by Covalent Logic in an effort to provide site visitors with engaging, updated resources. The new site offered user-friendly access to documents, facilities information, visitation scheduling and other resources for parents in an attractive, more modern user interface. New tools, like a custom visitation request form, made it easy for parents and the OJJ staff to facilitate visits with family members. A custom SVG map was implemented that showcases all locations visually and serves as an enhanced staff directory, as well as a resource to locate office hours, visitation hours and contact information for each site (by region).

In addition to the website redesign, the Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice was interested in working with Covalent Logic to develop brand standards that explicitly define the organization's overall look and feel. The brand standards outline everything from the brand’s typography and color palette to the tone of voice and mission statement.
