Facebook User Names Available Tonight

Tonight at 11:01 p.m. cst, Facebook will begin offering unique user names to companies and individuals. Essentially, you'll be able to register something like: www.facebook.com/yourName.

It's an important step, because currently, you can't really use the current unique addresses (like mine: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=591926377) to refer anyone to your profile or company's page.

In order to register your name, you'll need to log onto Facebook as close as possible to the start time at: http://www.facebook.com/username/

With over 200 million users of Facebook, names will likely go quickly. To read the Facebook announcement, visit this link
