Covalent Logic Receives 13 Awards at Annual SPRF Lantern Competition

The Southern Public Relations Federation presented the 2018 Lantern Awards on September 25 during its conference in New Orleans. The Lantern Awards recognize outstanding work in public relations. Covalent Logic received the most accolades, totaling 13 awards in nine categories, including Internal Communications, Graphics, Writing and Media Relations. Covalent’s extensive work with Shell received the most honors, with awards in six categories, followed by the Baton Rouge Metro Airport campaign, which received awards in four categories.

These awards were the latest in a series of honors for the Baton Rouge communications agency.

The Hermes Creative Awards, an international competition for creative professionals, honored Covalent with two platinum awards, two gold awards and one honorable mention for its work with Emprint, Bernhard Energy Solutions™, Shell and WRKF 89.3 FM.

Covalent’s commercial for Bernhard Energy Solutions™ was named Best Craft-Motion Graphics Design and Best Craft-Fully Animated Piece in the 39th Annual Telly Awards, which honors excellence in video and television across all screens.

The American Advertising Federation awarded Covalent gold and silver ADDYs for its work on the CATS website, as well as a Judges’ Pick for its “Pick Up Game” campaign for the Shell Tiger AO4 Project. Covalent’s work on this project also caught the attention of PRAL and earned a Red Stick Award for the public relations campaign as a whole.
